About Epic Wraps.

Epic Wraps didn’t start as Epic Wraps we actually started as a home based business just doing graphic design services. This went on for about 4 yrs until quickly realizing we needed to make an EPIC impression on our surrounding area.

We started a full service graphic design, signs shop in early April 2007 when we leased a small area above a respectable local print shop in our small city. Within our first 7 months we realized we needed more space and more equipment in order to keep up with our workflow, so we took over our own full unit in the same strip mall of the Ironwood Business Centre in Campbell River.

In early 2009 we moved into a larger unit in this same mall.

In 2014 we decided to go and get certified as vehicle wrap professionals. So we took the plunge and trained with 3M Graphics Canada and obtained certification as the first 3M Preferred Graphics Installer on all of Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

At the end of 2015 in November we moved closer to our downtown core for better exposure and we have bays to work in finally. We thereafter took an opportunity to go to Minnesota in the US to train doing 3M Architectural Wraps, like furniture, cabinetry, walls, elevator interiors and exteriors, doors etc. This is a 3M Endorsed certificate for Architectural and we passed with a 98% on final grade.

In December of 2018 we went for more training this time with the 3M Aerospace Division to become certified in wrapping 3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Pro Series. And of course we walked away with another certification to hang on our walls with pride!

In March of 2018 we trained once again but this time with a wrap legend in the industry “Justin Pate” this time with Avery-Dennison Graphics and also walked away a Certified Avery Wrap Installer.

We decided that after 12 years of being this graphics and sign shop that we would follow our passion of installing and being wrappers in the industry. So we have handed over the reins to Epic Wraps to where it began with the print shop we started with back in 2007, but now it’s under new ownership and now it has a fresh new vibe and new branding called “River Ink Printing & Signs”!

As of January 2020 we created Epic Wraps servicing only to - Wraps - Paint Protection - Architectural - Window Films, plus working as a contract installers for other shops or graphic firms that need certified installers to work with.
