About Epic Wraps.

Epic Wraps began as a home-based graphic design service, focused primarily on creative design work. For approximately four years, the business operated in this capacity before we recognized the opportunity—and need—to make a stronger, more impactful presence within our local industry.

In April 2007, we officially established a full-service graphic design and sign shop, leasing a small space above a respected local print shop in Campbell River. Within the first seven months, rapid growth required us to expand both our workspace and equipment capabilities. We subsequently moved into our own unit within the Ironwood Business Centre, where we were able to better support increasing demand.

By 2009, continued growth led us into a larger unit within the same complex, allowing us to further develop our production capacity and service offerings.

In 2014, we made a pivotal decision to specialize further within the industry and pursued professional certification in vehicle wrapping through 3M Graphics Canada. This achievement positioned us as the first 3M Preferred Graphics Installer on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.

In November 2015, we relocated closer to the downtown core to improve visibility and operate from dedicated installation bays. During this period, we expanded our expertise internationally, travelling to Minnesota, USA, for advanced training in 3M Architectural Wraps. This program covered applications such as furniture, cabinetry, walls, elevator interiors and exteriors, doors, and more. We successfully completed the certification with a 98% final grade.

In March 2018, we further advanced our skills by training with industry leader Justin Pate and Avery Dennison Graphics, earning certification as a Certified Avery Wrap Installer. Later that same year, in December 2018, we completed additional specialized training with 3M’s Aerospace Division, becoming certified in the installation of 3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film (Pro Series).

After more than 12 years operating as a full-service graphics and sign company, we made a strategic decision to fully align with our passion for installation work. We transitioned our original print and signage operations to a trusted local business, which continues today under new ownership as River Ink Printing & Signs, carrying forward its legacy with a refreshed brand and direction.

As of January 2020, Epic Wraps has evolved into a specialized installation company focused exclusively on vehicle wraps, paint protection film, architectural films, window films, and contract installation services for other shops and design firms requiring certified installers.
